Strawflowers are a colourful accent, not just in the garden, but when dried, they look great in a variety of handcrafts, deckers, advent wreaths, or simply floristry compositions. The main plus for strawflowers is that they also keep the bright flower colour dry.
Strawflowers grow 50-90 cm high.
Seeds for growing seedlings are sown in late March, early April, or at the end of April directly into the beds. Seeds sprout in 12-15 days. Grown in sunny, dry areas 20 x 30 cm apart.
