A green, noticeable pumpkin with dark orange flesh.
Muscate de Provence - produces distinctly ribbed, slightly flat pumpkins in a dark green color with dark orange flesh. Weight 5-25 kg. One plant produces 2-4 pumpkins. During storage, the color changes from dark green to orange.
Very suitable for cream soups, baking, drying.
The most suitable is pH: 6.0-6.8, so that the harvest is abundant.
These large plants need a lot of food! Choose a sunny location with fertile, well-draining soil. Add plenty of ready-made compost and/or composted manure. Add 1 cup of organic fertilizer, granular fertilizer, under each plant.
Feed larger pumpkins weekly with a fish or kelp-based fertilizer throughout the growing season. For large fruits, water them, especially in hot weather. Always water the soil and avoid any surface watering, except for rain. The fruits will grow larger if you keep only one fruit on each string. It is worth picking the small fruits and leaving the larger ones, this will reduce the risk of disease and rot, and the fruits will grow larger.
The yield of this pumpkin depends on how hard the bees have worked.
The weight of the fruit can reach up to 25 kg.
One plant produces up to 4 pumpkins.
During storage, it changes color from dark green to orange.
Very suitable for cooking cream soups and purees, as well as baking cherry cakes.
A late variety, but continues to ripen indoors perfectly, changing its color, which creates a decorative effect.
