Common yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is the most colorful, lighter and darker yellow, orange, red, pink, with green or slightly silvery, aromatic leaves.

The color of the flowers is more persistent and does not fade in the bright rays of the sun.

Yarrow. grows 45–70 cm high.

Likes sunny, open places. Yarrow will also grow in partial shade, but in such conditions it will wither and, possibly, will not bloom so magnificently.

Dry and permeable soil is most suitable. Both sandy and poor soil are suitable. It is advisable to amend poor soil with rotted manure or compost before planting, adding ash or dolomite flour so that there is no acidic environment. Granulated complex mineral fertilizers can be used.

Properly grown yarrow tolerates drought well. Patient and undemanding in cultivation.
