Yarrow. Dried medicinal herbs.
Yarrow. Dried medicinal herbs.
My grandmother called yarrow the king of medicinal herbs. It is worth keeping it in your home medicine cabinet just in case.
Yarrow is bitter, but a super doctor that comes from our meadows.
• Due to its anti-inflammatory, bactericidal and anti-allergic properties, yarrow juice is a good stop for bleeding. If a wound is bleeding, crush yarrow leaves or flowers with your fingers to form a gruel, and apply it to the wound (so that the small flowers do not get into the wound, there should be a sterile gauze pad).
Yarrow promotes digestion, regulates intestinal function and stabilizes the microflora, which is especially important after serious illnesses or a course of antibiotics.
For cleansing the body, including blood, increasing the iron content in the blood.
Both flowers and leaves can be used in medicine. Tea, alcohol or oil extract, ointment, as well as fresh juice are made from them.
Yarrow goes well with St. John's wort, mint, chamomile, echinacea, calendula, lemon balm, linden flowers, and meadowsweet. If the tea seems too bitter, a spoonful of delicious honey will soften the taste.
Yarrow in a sauna strengthens intuition, calms the mind, heals wounds and treats skin diseases, and enhances beauty.
