Chinese asters. Mix. Seeds.

Popular and widely grown autumn flowers. A mixture of Chinese aster seeds is a great way to create a bright and colorful accent in your garden, flower bed, or balcony that will bloom for a very long time, because asters also tolerate temperature fluctuations in autumn. It is not for nothing that they are associated with autumn flowers. In addition, as autumn becomes cooler, asters can be transplanted from the flower bed into pots and brought into warmer rooms, where they will continue to delight with their flowering, as long as there is enough light.
Chinese asters are easy to grow, undemanding, cold-resistant; abundantly flowering with a very long flowering period of 30-60 days.
Asters are light-requiring plants, but also tolerate slight or temporary shading. In dry weather, asters should be watered - not very often, but thoroughly.
Chinese asters do not like sharp temperature fluctuations, they grow best in conditions of even heat 18-20 *C, as well as soil and air humidity; therefore, if you want to extend the flowering time of asters in the fall, transplanting from the bed to the pot should be done in a timely manner to avoid temperature fluctuations.
Asters are plants that grow well in various soils, but they have a harder time in very heavy, dense, wet and acidic soils.
Asters have a shallow root system, so watering is required during drought periods;
Cold-resistant and temporarily tolerate light frost, hardened seedlings to -3*C, adult plants to -6*C. Therefore, seedlings can also be safely grown in a greenhouse.
Asters tolerate transplanting perfectly, even if they bloom.
Asters can be grown from seedlings or sown directly into beds in late April - early May; asters sown in the open field bloom 15-25 days later.
The temperature required for seed germination is 15-16 degrees, germinates in 4-9 days.
It is important to harden the seedlings and accustom them to outdoor conditions before planting them in a permanent place.
Planting distances between seedlings are approx. 20 cm.
